ASD is a concentrated wetting and scouring agent.
The product is stable to caustic soda at quantities usual in textile processing.
Tecuwet ASD can be used on all types of textiles and fiber types. The product foams under high turbulence conditions. In cases where foaming is a problem, we recommend the use of Tecuwet LF. Composition: Surfactant blend. Handling: No special precautions are to be taken, however, as with any highly concentrated chemical, observe good industrial hygienic practices and wear appropriate eye and skin protection.

Very effective in processes where moderate turbulence needs to be compensated for by a powerful wetting agent, e.g. becks, beams, package machines and padding conditions. Tecuwet ASD also has strong emulsifying and scouring action, and the fabric becomes soft and supple.
As the product is highly concentrated, small amounts of 1-3 g/l will be sufficient. Tecuwet ASD can be used over a wide range of conditions, from strongly acid to alkaline.
Only in cases where the product will be used in highly alkaline solutions, such as alkali feeding solutions for continuous pretreatment (more than 100 g/l liquid caustic soda), we recommend to use alternative products. Some preliminary compatibility testing would be advisable. Application examples: The quantities used are a function of the absorbency of the fiber (raw cotton requires more than prescoured polyester knit) as well as the liquor ratio.
